Got a good sea trial of the boat to start out the season.

We cruised all the way out to the Brass Spike, to try for some flounder. The water was dead calm. Full throttle all the out. Took just under 45 minutes from Little Creek. Unfortunately, there weren't any flounder around yesterday, so we went to the Gulf Hustler for togs.

Sausage hooked up to a 14 inch tog, which got him the first fish of 2009. After that, we tried to move to the other side of the wreck, but ended up fouling the wreck anchor, and lost our beautiful piece of equipment. We'll have to try a dive there later this summer to get it back. So, after that we went to the CBBT.

Picked up a couple of small 17" flounder around the bend, before the winds and seas started picking up. Got off the water just before the small craft advisory took effect.

All in all a great day on the water, and a good way to break in the boat for the 2009 season. Looking foward to a lot more days out there this year.
