Does anyone go fishing in the Eastern Branch of the Elizabeth River around the Broad Creek area? It would be nice and convenient to go there but I never hear about people fishing there. What fish could I hope to catch around there? I would most likely be fishing out of a kayak. I dont plan on keeping anything I catch from there cause from what I read the likelyhood of catching a three eyed fish seems pretty high. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I fish mostly the main branch of the ER, but my guess is there are probably some puppy drum or specks in the right area. You will most likely find croaker as well.
