Well the spade are there in flying colors fished for about 2 hours or so and took 6 into the boat a few we tossed back in for a couple years worth of growing biggest was about 8.5 lbs. actually i had to thank the guy who let me rope off his boat my anchor was to small since i lost my main anchor and had to run my back up but it would do nothing but drag out there so one of the guys let me rope off the ass end of his boat which i thank them alot because thats when i started catching the fish.....

Thank You for the report. I let someone do that to my boat last year. It's all good. Nice work on the spades, hopefuly the bite will continue getting better.

Did yoou see any Amberjacks?

I am not sure of the water temp i didn't have anything with me to check it and i did not see any AJ while i was there.... I was told that they have been seen earlier in the week though.... i do know that the bite on the spade where only 5 feet below water anything lower then that seemed very very slow.

I headed out on Wednesday to the CLT since there was a break in the weather. Got there about 7am....was the third boat on the scene. The trip out was a little rough, but worth the trip. We had our limit by 8:30. We were having so much fun that continued to fish until 11am. We were hoping for a citation, but the largest around 6lbs.

Get on 'em..... Didn't see any amberjack...
