Man this tournament is always rough and nasty as once again it proved to be. We only saw one marlin and saw dozens and dozens of gaffers. They raped our mackerals and horse ballyhoo on day 2 & 3. Plugs caught a bunch of gaffer dolphin as well. Caught dozens of Gaffer dolphins over the three days for meat to take home, but wish we could have been int he right area to see The Man in the Blue Suit! Plenty of Tournaments left to go the rest of the year.

Back to fishing SUCCESSION starting on Saturday and have plenty of dates open for Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo and Marlin fishing open. Even rigged for jigging this year as well.

Good luck in the other tournaments this year!!! I've only been on a boat once when a big Blue was caught, and it was an awesome sight!!! Took a blue and white G&H seawitch of all things, with a medium sized hoo(if I'm not mistaken). Had it a good ways back rolling shotgun on Billable Ours!!! My buddy John(Franklinjk) was the angler and had this sob on 40 lb test!!! Seeing that big of a fish flying 5-8 feet completely off the surface of the water was one of the best things I've seen in my life, and I wasn't even the angler!!!! Watching that mess on TV just doesn't do it justice.. Before that day there was no way I thought a fish that long and heavy would be able to make leaps like that!!! I know those gaffers down there are thick this year.. Crazy they were tearing into your macks so bad like that.
