More great gaffer fishing today. Due to the wind and the waves, we were only able to get a half day in. One of the young ladies on the boat today got seasick and we called it a day around 12:30. All I can say is they were thick!!!! Started out inside the tower first thing and caught 3 right off the bat. Then started working North in 60' to 80' looking for the break we saw on last nights SST chart. Around the 300 line things starting looking good and we found a nice break with a 1.5 degree change. Flying fish everywhere, with some birds working. Over the next 2 hours, we had 22 bites. Ended up with 14 for the day with a total weight of 198#'s. The best of it was between the 380 and 420, 80' to 120'. Going again in the morning.
If you enjoy dolphin fishing, this is the time!!! This is some of the best I've ever seen.
