Crew Gdad,Danny aka Lt Dan, Jeff,Bob,Justin my step son and me...After talking to my buddy Butch and the south wind for 4 days I decided to skip the ramp nightmare at OI and go out of Rudee ...Ran to the 970 In 700fthms And It was non stop all you wanted big Gaffers...water warmed up to about 72 few weeds fished a circle about a half mile all day twice we went 8 gaffers for 9 rods piping out of all the clips ..Great day 30 knots out 38 knots back we finished at noon running out of hoos 5 packs.!!!!
Nice fishing along Dave Trax on Oblivion and Eddie on Wildcard..

38 Gaffers
2 of them paper 25 and 26lbs

Great report, didn't get the pictures. Sounds like its on, I just hope they are around the week 6/13/09 as we'll be in Pirates Cove with the boat. I'll check later on pics, with that kind of a day you have to have some good ones.

Great fishing none stop all day.We did run over some tuna on 030 62 deg. water on the way back in but had no bait.

Funny you mention that...as we were heading in for the day around 80 - 120 fathoms southside the cigar it was slicky as hell, birds everywhere...there were lots of blue fish around so I would imagine there were some Bluefins hanging out...water was 63 Degrees....fishiest looking water out there that's for sure...
