Cool Change
As witnessed by anyone there the mahi were getting down on Saturday. If you couldn't catch them on Saturday then you need to take up another sport. You really couldn't get more than four rods out. We had one take the two flat lines and have two hooks in it and a friend on another boat caught one on a naked sea witch. Sunday was a little slower due to us having a sending unit failure on the fuel gauge so we headed back in after getting to the mouth of the inlet to put more fuel in as well as coming in earlier for fear of a possible fuel leak but it's the sender. Put in at Broad Creek and fished around The Point.

All in all though a stellar trip with the cockpit painted red, and a tuck bed of nearly 300 lbs. of savory goodness.

You don't have to go far I was talking with one Capt. and they were 15-16 miles off the beach and killing the Mahi. Good luck and be safe if you go. Also follow the fleet out so you can get a good track of the inlet.
