Went out of Rudee at 0530, made it to the tower at about 0615. When I got there, only about 12 other boats. Stayed for about 45 minutes, and saw the most ridiculous attempts at being a boat driver/ owner EVER. People trying to set the anchor, and ending up about 5 feet from my bow, then trying it 6 other times for the same result! From the reef, where we went looking east to the tower, ALOT of boats arrived at the tower. It looked like striped bass season at a little tower instead of a long bridge.

Left and headed west, stopping right on the reef, where we just dropped clam and caught multiple sea bass, 1 tautog, 1 tile fish, 2 oyster toads (saved for you Capt Fatbeard!). Did that until about 1100, then headed in.

Stopped on the way in to fish the HUGE schools of bunker, nothing chasing them, guessing they were just jumping for joy or something, I thought they were jumping for fear.

Had a good time catching alot of little fish though.

we hit those same school of bunker, and we did catch something. SHARKS! My little cousin jigged up TWO sharks, don't quite know what kind they are. we took some treble hooks then snagged some bunker for bait. Then we then turned from spade fishing to shark fishing. hooked onto 16, one hell of a fight on spade fish rods and reels.
