I was shocked to see a add on this web site for Bluff Landing Marina in Corpus Christi Texas .I grew up there fishing with the Vanoys ,Stoners and the fishing ledgends of the Bluff(Wally Gabroski=Danny Wilky= Bucky Vanoy=James Bronson)spent manyof nights running Vanoys=+ Stoner Boats, being a mate on a boat owned by the Bronsons at the Rainbow Bait stand+ coastaway............ What a great place to grow up.... Some of the best red drum, speck fishing + what a beach just miles +miles of driving onn the beach (100 or so miles) great surf fishing + surfing............+ the best little hole in the wall bars in north america.Cheap waterfront homes..............My 1st job at Coburns Marine i made a whopping $1/ hr.............Live shrimp on a pop cork............Great fishing
