Hi guys ...
I move around a bit; like some of you are or have been yourselves, I'm in the Navy ... so ... it's been awhile since I last tied on a ballyhoo and combed over the Fingers and Wayne's World. 2005 was my "banner year," I guess you could say, and I'm pretty sure a lot will come back to me, but I forget some basic stuff.
1) What is the web-site (the one I remember was either free or cost about $10 to subscribe) which posts the temp breaks? Any suggestions on where to look for wave-height and sea conditions before making the decision to go or not go?
2) YFT ... are they heading South, or North, this time of year? I'm hoping I didn't miss them, as it sounds like offshore VA was hot a couple weeks ago, then seems to have died down this past weekend (a lot of Dorado, instead, it sounds like) ... and it sounds like most of the good YFT action is now North of us.
3) BFT ... never caught one ... but it sounds like they are going on at the Hot Dog. Any suggestions on what to troll and if the speeds differ from that for YFT?
Thanks guys ... sorry for all the amateur questions. I was in the bubble a few years ago, and I'm hoping to get back into it this Summer! This next weekend will be my first back in action should the weather cooperate.
