Sorry for the late report.

Fished the hill on Saturday with just two of us on board. Left Bell Isle at 4:00 and had a nice
ride till we cleared the bay. Head seas made the ride a lot slower.
I don't remember what time we finally got there. Billy had six of the 7 rod spread
out when the long rigger gets bit and we are tight to are first BFT. Billy does a great job
working him to the boat. When I grab the leader to sink the gaff he makes a run under the boat
towards the engines, I was waiting for that sickening sound the line makes when it snaps but
he came right back out and this time the gaff found its mark and we put a 50 lber in the boat.
That was the only Tuna bite we had all day. We did catch 1 small dolpin and lost about 4 that never
came tight.

Cool Change
Thanks for the report on the hill. Fisherman Magazine says most boats are getting one under and one over the 47" limit. I first started there in a single engine rig and love the place. Contact Capt. Nat Atkinson for a trip if you need the best the Preage has to offer. He took us under his wing twenty years ago and I owe him a lot.
