The Sierra Mist will once again be doing the inshore division. My lady friend is coming all the way from Pax River, MD to fish it with me. She fished it last year and caught the 4.7lb flounder and is excited that you guys have a lady's division this year. Entry form and check in the envelope, just waiting for the 4th angler to let me know if he can fish it. My stuff will be in the mail at the end of this week.

It will be great to see Mike and Scott again! Mike, I remember weighing that flounder. Nice fish! Tico Time, this is our 4th annual Bluewater Classic and is our flagship event. The tournament raises money for charity and is set up to be competative for all boats from 16 to 60 feet. For the basic entry fee of $300.00 (if registered prior to august 1), you fish 2 out of three days in either gamefish division, inshore (pays the biggest flounder, spanish mackeral and cobia) or offshore (pays biggest tuna, mahi and wahoo). You can't fish both, but you can change from offshore to inshore at any time until the Captain's Meeting is over. That allows the smaller boats to get the early registration discount, but to get good weather predictions before committing to the bluewater. In addition there are levels for Billfish Release, King Mackeral, Junior Angler, Lady Angler, Active duty/retired military (THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE!) and various other calcuttas you can enter.
