G&H Lures
Mikes Dad and nephew were in from CA. Wanting to head Offshore really, really bad, but weather and lack of some good reports we headed to the bay for flounder. Off we go... Mike, Mr. Huddleston, Maggie, Gus, Colton and of couse me. We put in at the "Old Mud Hole" on the eastern shore and went to short bridge. Lines in by seven and by nine thirty we had five keeper flounder, largest was 22.5" caught by Maggie. Everyone onboard except me caught a keeper flounder... (Damn Captains can't catch fish, so I stayed at the helm) So after a small issue with the bilge pump, which we had to rewire the bilge pump to a new switch. Repair complete we dediced to go get the kids on some croaker pullage.... Well this is where we realized we have no beer onboard, wow that's like going fishing with no bait! That will never happen again. We head to Magotheys Bay and the kids began to put a woopin on some nice size croaker. We finished the day trolling by fishermans island and the bridge in search for some Spanish, no luck with spanish but we kept the kids focused with catching small blues. Called the day at three and headed to Stingrays for nice "cold beer" and dinner. Will add some pics later....
