Full Version: sunday flounder

Fished the 3rd island from 9 till 11 this morning caught 15 flounder, only 5 were keepers with the largest being 24". many were 18". we were using squid and minnow combos and stopped fishing cuz we ran out of bait. tryed jigging for them but could not get the hook to stay in the fishes mouth. any advise on jiggin for flounder would be helpful.

Matt, When you feel the bite,let have it in freespool for 4-7 seconds,engage the reel & start winding. DO NOT SET HOOK!!!! Capt Al
