Took off Yesterday & made the trip down early in the morning for 1 more trip to the bluewater this year. Wade & I Crewed up with Tim, Cody & Steve. Headed to the canyon & it wasn't long before we had some meat in the box...mostly small dolphin. Hook up to 1 FA & he goes in the cooler for bait. Had 1 really nice hit, ran fast, but came untied. Had another really nice run, but Mr. Wahoo decided to take off with our nice white Ilander. Had a lot of wire out, but he picked the one with out it> Go figure
Had the b/w Get Reel spreader bar out long trailed by another b/w Ilander it gets slammed!! Nice Dolphin jumping out of the water & puts on a nice show. Get it to the boat, 21 lb. cow for wade. Decide to try to deep drop for wreckfish, worked that for about an hour with only 1 small fish & 1 rosie coming up from there. Went to the blueline tile grounds & caught a few decent tiles & 1 going citation for Cody

10 lbs 5 oz.& got a couple of seabass. All in all, a nice day, with lots of action. Did hear of smoe nice wahoo being caught, no tunas on the radio, & scattered marlin bites. We also saw a sunfish, that was pretty cool, I hope you can see it in the pic.
Well, that concludes our offshore fishing of the summer, Wade & I are off to Deltaville to finish up a couple of projects & will be back in December for the stripers & hopefully get offshore a couple of times for some deep dropping.
