Fished near the mouth of the Elizabeth River last night, 9 - midnight. Caught several undersized specks, a few undersized puppy drum, and several school stripers. Took home 1 speck @ 17", and 4 stripers, 2 @ 22" and 2 @20". Water temp was 62. Everything was caught on smoke and new-penny colored gulps.

Nice catch; how often do you fish the lower Liz? I am just now fishing it some. We picked at the specks the last 2 weeks, had one real good day and a couple of days that were slow, more small reds than specks, but I am learning new spots as I go.
