Has anyone ever tried live-lining small croakers or spot at the hot dog??? If so, what happened???

The reason I ask is in San Diego the charters troll around until they get a fish on, then immediately cut the engine and drop live bait and then all hell usually breaks loose.

It's funny you ask, because Mike (Rockin Robin) was thinking about doing the same thing? You would think it would work. Haven't heard of anyone doing it.

I've tried it with snapper blues for bluefin, and it worked great!

We use live pogys and or blue runners for Kings we usally try to get bait that same morning or the day before .
A lot of sharkers will catch a blue fish an put him out rigged on a live bait rig.

OVER THE TUBES OF COURSE BUT NOT THAT FAR OUT, HOW DEEP IS THE HOT DOG ?

I bet it would work when they all are down deep and not biteing.
