Going out w/ some friends for my big 30 B-day on Wednesday the 27 and I hear people are catching nice fish at " inshore lumps" , I just dont know where they are.
We.ve got a new GPS so those directions would be great, actually any would be good. Also they're catching Blue fin and King mackeral, any tips for fishing these guys and type of lures. Thanks alot to anyone w/ info, I love just being out on the water but catching some nice fish would be even better

I gave you some GPS numbers on your other thread (Directions to inshore lumps). Hopefully they will help. As for bluefin, guys have had luck with cedar plugs, spreader bars, little jet head lures, and some on ballyhoo with seawitches. For kings you should troll something down on a planer or if the boat has a downrigger, even better. Trolling a large spoon would be my choice.
I know that last weekend things had slowed down at the HotDog and at the Lumps. Most guys were heading out towards the Fingers and further east. We got into a good Yellowfin bite east of the 22 Fathom Finger. Haven't heard anything different. Keep checking the reports since you still have a week. With this hot weather a lot can change.
