Southeast out of Rudee. I've heard it has slowed down some. Most of the guys I know have been going to the 22 Fathom Finger (N36 51.513 W 074 59.629) and points east.

How many miles from Cape Henry or Rudee Inlet to these "inshore lumps"? Is this the closest shot at tuna chunking or maybe dolphin?

These lumps are 27 miles from Rudee. I've heard there are some bluefin still hanging around, but not like it had been since the water is so warm. I heard some guys out of Ocean City chunked in warmer water up there and caught some good bluefin, 90+ pounders, so it might be the place to try.
The hot dolphin action is further out east of the Fingers and closer to the Norfolk Canyon. That you're looking at about 50-60 miles from Rudee.

Thanks. Do you know the distance from the CLT to the Lumps? I was thinking to combine the two to hopefully avoid getting skunked. The spadefish were very cooperative last week for my boys!

I'd say its about 20-24 miles from the CLT. We wnet past the Tower on Monday and only saw two boats. Won't look like that this weekend!

The CLT is about 12.3 NM from Rudee.
