Shoulda gone offshore! Mighty pretty water in the bay.Couldn't buy a flounder, so went looking for spades (kept one small one live for fish tank) but found cobias up around buoys.(Couldn't get em to eat live spot, white jig, etc.) Still, water was warm and clean all over the place. With a more reliable fix on the T_Stoms I would have gone on off.

We also had a very slow Saturday. Tried all our favorite spots for flounder, finally got two keepers near the fourth. Got one trigger fish same area on strip bait. Go figure. Went piling hopping for sheepshead-0. Saw spades at two pilings -0. None interested in eating. Still better than working!

I had a slow but excellent Saturday. I took my new boat (1st boat) tothe CBBT for the 1st time. We casted for blues for awhile at the 4th and after catching and releasing about 10 to 15 each we moved on to the high rise to try our luck at some flounder. I caught only one. It was a 28 inch flounder 8.2 lbs. What an exellent to way to celebrate my 1st trip in my 1st boat to the CBBT.

I think God does this so we don't think we have REALLY figured fish out. Keeps us humble.

My girlfriend and i caught 4 spades at 4th island Saturday. (we caught 10 on friday night).

Saturday the Spades were moving around alot, we saw alot of big ones in the water, but they were cruising.

I did see a women catch two big spades at the same time, unless it was just a double netting.

Too funny! See if you can figure this out:

Wife gives me grief over me wanting to spend $60 on a boat item, but is absolutely elated at the chance to spend $1500 for a weekend in San Francisco.

Where's the emoticon for pulling your hair out????

BTW, nice fish, PLG.

Dr W jumped a big tarpon who eventually pulled off after three or four jumps. Had another on,and many sharks,Got his shark release citation as well. Fished with Mr Billy Suggs and used live spot for bait.

AT THE RISK OF TICKING OFF EVERYBODY AGAIN,I MUST GIVE MY USUAL ANSWER ABOUT LOCATION: .

Thursday started out at Anglo-African with many spades including weight citation, kept one largish shark, sea bass, and stuff.Back by 4-A where nothing going on,then finished up at Cape Henry Wreck withanother bunch of flounder. Weighed in a monster oyster toad,as IT IS ELLIGIBLE FOR SOME ANGLER CLUB ENTRIES! HOT DAY. Radio skip allowed us to listen in on the tuna bite from CHW, and talked to a chap on the dock with a good tuna and who also released two white marlins.
(If you go to AA wreck, I have been there twice this week and had spanish macks busting and skying near the wreck. Casted to them with stingsilver, but unable to use the full spread of spanish stuff,as were anchored up. Might behove ya to give a pass if out that way)
