Full Version: 7/30 report
Virginia Beach Sport Fishing > VBSF.net Sport Fishing Forums > Chesapeake Bay & Coastal Waters to 15 miles (Ocean City MD to Hatteras NC)
Drove thruogh rain for 80 miles to go spadefishing at the tower. The weather did'nt coop so we headed to the 3rd for flounder. T storm snuck up on us and i couldn't see jack. fished for 30 mins on bottom w/ fish bites and caught croakers 2 at a time. my buddy was using squid/shrimp and didn't get a bite.I boated 10 croakers and a 3 foot dog.will watch the weather more closely next time.

BY the way you could have caught all the spades you wanted @ the 4th island ocean side....I was there in the same rain and caught my limit x 2.5...biggest spade just under 9.5lb....
