Looking for triggerfish as Dr Wright does not have one..What do you all know?

All mine have been incidental bycatch. The vast majority were caught at the high rise. I have noticed that I catch more when fishing shrimp or sand fleas with small hooks.

So, on another note, fished Second Island first thing Thursday,followed by a visit to the Cape Henry Wreck.Nadda.Steve was running "Spoiled Rotten" nest to us and caught one keeper flounder,we caught none. Ran to a spot down off Va Beach Pier and hit four keepers in two drifts, then to entrance of Rudee inlet for a real blitz of big spots on fishbites.Now for the news:
As we were picking up lines, Captain Billy Cook called from just offshore,where he was running a test on a boat.He had spotted a couple good cobia UNDER A CRABPOT BUOY! We ducked out there and ,sho nuff,two of the boys were under this little buoy. Dr Wright pitched a live spot back behind the boat,and then put the rod in the holder (a no-no) and then pitched out another one! Well,guess what...They got crossed up and caught the buoy!.. While Dr Jim is trying to untangle this mess,one of the cobia was wired enough to hit one of the spots,and during the melee,he straightened out the mess and we were hooked up!Anyway, I yelled down to my 75 year old mate to hurry up and reel in the other line.Well, long story short,I kept the cobe behind the boat, my crew couldn't knock the cobe off the hook with the net,and we ended up with a 50 incher, which will be bar-b material.

Yeah.How about charters,huh?
