One of my uncles went out 8/14 for cobia at 9ft shoals. They had lots of sharks and plenty of trout next to the chum pot. No runs on cobia. On the way in they put some gold spoons out in hopes of a drum or cobia but the ended up with a spanish that was 1inch short of a citation. With that report, I decided to try for some spanish around york spit. Ran just north of BRR and put the lines in. Trolled all the way up to york spit then picked up and ran home. Zero hits but its better killing two hours on the water instead of staying in the house.

Definitely better to be on the water then at home. I will take any bad days of fishing over being at work or at home!
