I heard of a gigantic flounder caught maybe at rudee this past week. can anyone confirm this. I won't even say how big this fish has gotten with word of mouth, but only that it is a HUGE fish story worthy of a front page news article. of course, they added in that it was an accidental catch while fishing for bait. anybody?

I saw it on the news (maybe channel 13) Friday evening. Some guy was fishing for spot to be used for cut bait later. It was huge!!!! I think thet said it was a little over 13 lbs.

I saw it on the news too. Trying to catch bait and he lands a doormat. Gotta love it!! He said that when he went to weigh it at VB Fishing Center, they told him that some other people had caught that fish, but would loose it when it got to the rocks. It had been terrorizing the fishermen.

Wow, so its true! That thing must've swallowed a spot he had on his bottom rig. Awesome, thanks guys!

The pilot online has a 13lb 8oz catch written in it, not sure if it's the same one but that's a nice fish.
