Went out to the tower on monday, it was calm with some decent swells, 81 degrees according to my questionable depth finder, and sunny. Saw large schools of spades, at least two kingfish, something that looked like jack cravalle, and what was most likely either ajs or cobia

Had one brief hookup on live croaker, it appeared to be running away from the tower and the hook pulled(assume it was an AJ) Only boat out there. Had a kingfish swim right by the boat and dangled a croaker down for him but he didn't even look. I am not really sure what they eat or how to fish for them - nothing seemed really interested in eating.

Came back to the CBBT to try for a sheepshead but the current was rolling in and never slowed. No Luck. ...
