CONTENDER
I was wondering if anyone had any helpful advise on where to go, and what to fish with. Does anyone fish the wrecks out past the CLT for sharks? Is it best to drift, or anchor? What size tackle is needed? Any help would be great!

I've never been, but have talked about going for a while. I think the wrecks would be a great place. I've seen sharks around the CLT, even around Cape Henry. Becareful because I think there is some law about shark fishing near the beach(tourists), I could be imagining that, but I'd check first. Watching that Monster Shark Tourney on ESPN last night sparked my interest again.

You are supposed to be 1 mile off va Beach for any type of Chumming. The Eastern shore is a good Place to target Sharks.I saw a huge Shark at the CH Buoy on the CB line a few weeks ago.We have caught large sharks off SandBridge also.

Skinnys-kid, thanks for the reply. I think I might try to go on the 16th. I'll be leaving out of Rudee. I think I have some extra room if you want to ride out with me and give it a try. I have a 25' Contender w/ twin 200's. This trip all depends on the weather. Thanks again for the reply.
