Blues Blues Blues...and not the Blue fin TYpe !......went through about 2 bags of storm lures and lost the hairs off a bunch of Bucktails today....Weather was little choppy...3 - 4' chop with a good 20 KT wind....had a BLAST....lol...

Had one striper on while going through the bridge tunnel but the tide was running about 100MPH and ripped the lips off the fish.....had a fun day though....not a whole lot of knuckleheads like us out there....Still Think'n....Bob

Maybe we can market our own replacement tails. They come with half a roll of duct tape smile.gif

Them blues love rubber tail.

Long Bay sells a glue called Pro Soft Bait Glue, and its great. It works great on those storm lures or just about anything. I use it when I make some of my lures. Problem is you have nothing to glue back onto the storm unless you buy plain shad bodies and cut the tails off to glue them to the storm...we'll have to work on this problem. ph34r.gif

Super Glue works also.

That Pro Soft Bait glue works great but gosh help you if you get it on your hands. I recommend wearing rubber gloves when using it because only acetone will get it off your fingers. And I MEAN it will glue your fingers together right now.

fishist,

10-4 on that. I got that mess all over my fingers yesterday. It's pretty much rubbed off by now though. It works great on those torn soft baits.

And don't get it in your eye!!! blink.gif I'm speaking from experience. I was attaching a squid skirt to a lure and put a few drops to secure it. Decided to blow on it to dry faster(not that its needed that stuff dries soo fast) and blew some up into my eye. Burned like a mother!!! Went to the Doc-in-a-box and they sent me to an eye doc. It had actually scrathed my eye. The eye doc was pretty cute though biggrin.gif ...at least I think she was?!?! wink.gif

Use finger nail polish remover to get it off your hands.

I hate to ask a dumb question, but what exactly do you mean by a "storm lure"?
