Headed out to the Lesner Bridge for a couple of hours tonight. Anchored up in my favorite spot as the flood tide was ripping. First hour was slow but then the action picked up. Fish were practically jumping in the boat. Put our limit in the box (4) all around 20-22" , healthy and fat. Released another dozen or so between 18-22". Fish were still breakin the surface when we decided to head in. Good night, gotta love schoolies on light action rods.

Yup casting. Mirrolures and storms, but almost all the action was on Mirrolures. THey didn't seem to want anything to do with the storms. Tried all sizes and colors. Nothing on bucktails. I think all the action was at the surface.

At one point thought I had a sure citation, the rod was bent in half with line being ripped out. So I fought it for a few minutes and then it goes slack and damn I thought I lost it. So I pull in my line and what do I find? Snagged the guy fishing on the other side of the bridge blink.gif So I unhooked and felt like a fool.

Good job! Thanks for the report - I love top water action on light tackle. It's such a blast to see your lure blow up...
