Went chunking again at the M&M bridge tunnel and ended up catching about 30 stripers, smallest was about 22 in and largest was 33 in. Most fish were a good 8-10 lbs, all fish were healthy with no sores and did manage one puppy drum at just over 18 in. Once again it seemed like the light worked again! The six fish that we kept all had chunks in their bellies.

Speaking of lights, I was just saying in another post that I have "seen the light" and have bought a fishloght -- green 48". I may not be able to night fish until next week, and then only if Wilma stays away, but I am totally psyched about this new toy. It looks way too cool not to work! The sucker is so big that I can knock one over the head if he swims close enough. I'll post the results once I get out at night next week.

I believe that the green 48" fishlight is the one that we use and with the case and everything it runs about $200. All you do is just put the clamps on a spare battery and toss it in the water and tie it off on the rail. You will want to throw it on the side that has the current taking it away from the boat just a bit. It seems to work really well and it really lights up the water all around the boat.
