I've heard a couple of reports about some bluefin being caught with in boat shot of the VA fleet. 3(73 to80 inches) were caught by a commercial fisherman around the 300 line in about 50 fathoms out of VA and then I just heard that there were some caught (just over the legal 47) at the 26 mile Hill off the Eastern Shore. Anyone else heard of anything happnin'??

Don,
Let's go after them Sunday ourselves, maybe pick up a couple more guys. Your boat or mine. Forecast looks pretty good. Start at TPL Wrecks and troll East.

Still Think-N. We plan to be at the Triangle around 8:00 or 8:30, leaving out of Rudee, 27' World Cat. Thinking about anchoring up for blue fish then live baiting. Crew did this last year, live baited 30" blue fish and had a mystery run. Hoping this time to see the catch. Call us on the radio and will let you now how we are doing.

Are you going to troll or anchor?

Man if I didn't have to go to a bachelor party this weekend I'd love to get out with you guys. The guys are twisting my arm to go, looks like I'll be fishin for something else Sat.

This stinks...I start you guys off on a tease to catch big bluefin and now the boats are gearing up to go and I'll be on a roof for the second weekend in a row when the weather's been great sad.gif sad.gif . I've been helping my bro out putting on a roof at his house. I'm hoping that all these good deeds will pay off with some good fishing. I'll keep checking around for more info on some locations, and if I hear anything I'll let you all know.

Catch 'em Up for me!!! wink.gif

Thanks for the offer Mike(bitemysister) I'll get up with you one of these days.

Ahh Roofing a house, that takes me back to my Junior year spring break in High school. I helped roof the family house. I had one of the best tans when I got back to school.

You got nail guns or are you trying to let the hammer slip between your fingers?

Alot of things you might do in life then forget, roofing a house is not one of them.

My brother was smart to buy a nail gun...if not I'd be the guy with the right forearm that looked like Popeye!! We have about 100 bundles yet to put up, but after that, the fish better look out. Even if I have row my 16 footer somewhere, I'm doing it!!
Cache-N-Release
Enough about roofing. Boat's full of gas, ice, and bait; it's off to the Triangle we go!

Sorry C-N-R, I was trying to ease the pain a bit by not talking about fishing since I won't be doing it! sad.gif

I haven't heard of any other info besides a couple of guys heading to the Hot Dog and Lumps to give it a shot. The water temps are mixed up in pockets, but there seems to be some cooler (62 degree) pockets around the Triangle Wrecks...that's where I'd go.

You fellas catch 'em up!! Good luck and hold on!!
