BLACK ADDER
Young Billy Cook slipped his leash this past Saturday and ran off shore with his pal Matt aboard Matt's boat. Captain Cook reports that they ran south east from Rudee to the "B" tower, which is a Lo-o-ong haul. Anyway, there was solid bluefish (big ones) at the tower and very large false albacore. Matt was after bluefin,so they didn't stick around the tower. Picked up one medium yellowfin trolling. Dr Wright still needs his bluefish and false albacore citations, but I'll never get him to run that far on a slow poke like "Therapy".He might go with David and check it out,as soon as he can get away. Some of you hard core types might be able to get out there for a look-see, but the weather got to get right again.

Bob,
If its the same B tower as the one on my chart...its about 65-70 miles SE of Rudee...not sure though...never been. It's closer to Oregon Inlet then here blink.gif .

The "B" on your old loran charts is out on the edge east of the "A" or amberjack tower,AKA "South Tower". A goodish haul. And yes,Jason, you is still hardcore in our book! cool.gif
The numbers on that "B" tower are 36.06.43 and 074.98.27

You can peek at that by going to WWW.MARINEPLANNER.COM and going to the Cape Sable to Cape Hatteras map under "Smart Chart".It's a free service, and you can print out pieces of charts, too. Once you get referenced in on the Outer Banks go east until you see the "B".

Got to admire your determination, but that lone yellowfin may be the most expensive meal you ever eat! laugh.gif
