Bite at the Lesner was HOT last night...about 5-6 schoolies before I gave up trying to tie knots without my headlamp...guy next to me scored a very nice fish in the 30"-34" range...was there about 2 hours about 20 minutes chewed up when the Va. Beach Marine Patrol Lady decided to flex her muscles and ordered all fishermen (20-25) out of the water for a license check...EVERYONE was legal...I bet she doesnt fish.... I mean like we are gonna spend $100-$150 bucks on waders...thousands in gear...to break the law for NOT HAVING a license...would made more sense to check everyone as they left...

Thanks for the info. I always seem to be a day late down there at Lesner. Good to know the acton is picking up.
As for the License Check...why not walk to each person and ask so no one would loose their spot...must have been too much to ask for. Or like you said, get 'em as they leave.
