Awesome day....didn't make it out until 1:30 PM or so due to family issues. Launched out of owls creek and headed towards sandbridge on a tip from a nice CAT that was pulling into the ramps at that time. had lines in the water by around 215 or so and trolled for about 20 minutes....My fishfinder went from 32' to 6' due to the bait ball we rolled over....two of the five rods went down....
Otter pulled the first nice 32 plus incher into the boat and then John was having trouble with the other rod.....called him all kinds of bad names because he just couldn't muscle up the fish.....turned out he had 4 yes 4 30 plus inch stripers on the rig.....That wa the 7 lure daisey chain with a Mojo we were pulling,.....hauled all four fish into the boat...that gave is 5 fish with one more to go for our limit...
Got our gear straightened out and I gave the wheel to John cause I wanted a fish !
The Daisey chaing rig goes down again and I grab it...had two more on the daisey chain...had to let one of them go....
3:30 Pm and we're done....heading back to the barn....birds were diving all over the place from the Sandbridge pier all the way up to Rudee Inlet.....
My first mate Otter has the Pics...will post when he send them to me.....
Little rough going out but for some reason the wind just totally died while we were running in and it glassed out.....

The guy in the Grunden rain gear is Otter...he's first mate on my boat...the guy in the Camie coveralls is John Hamilton, he's a lucky dude, he grabbed the rod earlier this year with the 83.2# Wahoo and he also grabbed the rod yesterday with the 4 fish on it....he's a grabby guy...lol.......That's me with the Aquasport Hat on.....bob

I got spooled using a white daisy chain and chartruse mojo in the morning yesterday at Cape Henry while wire lining. I would have loved to see what was on there.

Those are some of my dogs...have a Great Dane...a 100lb Dalmation and the boss of the house is the daschound, keep ya real busy and makes cleaning fish around the house a pain in the A$$.....bob
