I've heard lot's of talk about nothing in the ocean except for a couple lucky trips. Is anything still happening in the bay at the CBBT or HRBT?
I'd rather have a few schoolies on the table than spend all day on the ocean with nothing?

I've been wondering the same thing. Actually, for food purposes I'd rather have the smaller fish and they're alot of fun to catch on light tackle. It just seemed the season never materialized. I had a few good days and it seemed like they disappeared. I also have wondered how the tog situation is in the bay. SOMEBODY HELP US OUT!!!

Have faith, the season is right now. It's materialized, and it'll get better soon as more come down from the upper bay. We got them a couple weeks ago at Wolftrap.

I'm trying it again Sun, then go over to the other side of the Baltimore channel to Cherrystone.
Check out www.ssentinel.com and hit "sports" and then fishing report.

Checked that report, same as NBC 12. Report came from Queens Creek almost 2 weeks ago. I was also out there 2 saturdays ago, came out of Winter Harbor ran into dinks just south of the Trap. Proceded to 38A, put a 38'' in the cooler then nothing! Hit Wolf on the way in, put 5 in the cooler in 5min. 19 to 25. Will try again Sunday, they should be ROCKIN now I hope. Good Luck to All. JOE

Just talked to my fishing buddy in Northern Neck. Water temp. dropped to 47/48 and the major bite was on for most of the week. He heard of several 50+ fish being caught this week. He fishes out of Burgess, VA. Get ready, here they come.

I took the "G-Spot" out for a sight seeing tour of the CBBT and trolled darn near the whole lenght of it with no action at all. I did mark plenty of bait and lots of fish between the 2nd and 3rd Island but no takers between 1:00-8:00pm. Ebb-slack water. I starting to think my 1st mate is bad luck.... hope this helps.
