Bait n Switch
I took my dog to the beach this afternoon at the first beach access at Sandbridge and while I was there I saw tons of birds working the water. Most were just gulls and smaller birds but there were a few gannets. I then left and drove down to the pier where I usually find myself catching fish and the birds were working there as well. I didnt see one boat out there, probably due to the high winds, but the waves werent much more that 1-3 feet as far as I could tell. Did anyone go out today (Friday) and if so, any luck? Im looking forward to heading out this weekend...

Thanks for the info. I think we're going to give it a try down there tomorrow.

We are heading down there too. Think we are going to start around false cape.

Yeh, that's our plan, too. We're leaving from Owl's Creek around 6:30.

I plan on going down to Sandbridge on Sunday, if someone can tell me how far south of rudee's it is and some of the good spots? Thanks in advance for the info.

turn right and head to the fishing pier. If I had to guess its not much more than 4 or 5 miles. its a short trip out of Rudee.
