Headed south last minute on "Reel Therapy". Ran down to False Cape and got lines in at 7:25. Had our first fish at 7:45, a 35 incher. Stayed in the same area and had good action boating 5 stripers up to 37 inches by 9:30 including a couple of shorties. The hot baits were the storm umbrella and the mojo rig(top bait and the mojo itself). The best bait of the day though, was when we busted out the Nutty Bars for an early morning snack. We immediately got a double header

, so here's to Little Debbie!!
Caught the stripers up to about 9:30 and then started getting big bluefish. They went between 30 and 33 inches. They can do a number on an umbrella of storm lures and your mojos, not to mention your thumb when you put it in their mouth, right Trey?!?!?
A lot of boats down there and I think most had a good day. We were in 30 feet of water and the temp was right around 50. Talked to some guys at the cleaning station and they ran down to Corolla and got fish, too.
