went down to Oregon Inlet today, wow! The water temps stayed above 47 all day, with 50 in the inlet. Around 8:00am had a quadruple hookup with fifteen pound class bluefish....except each one of the daisy chains and unbrella rigs had on a fish. We ended up getting 9 to the boat from that one inccident. Stayed in blued all day long, eventually jigged in 80ft of water with 12 pound spinning rods...what a fight! Average size of the bluefish was around 31 inches, had many over 33, a few 34's and 2 36's. Probably caught 100 fish today! Stripers bit early and quick, then vanished.

Awesome Big Eye!! Thats pretty good 9 fish in one pass! I saw on the OI site that they had a great day with big bluefish close to the beach. Glad you got into the action!!
