I've been 3 times in the last 2 weeks and have gotten skunked every time! I'm tired of that...Going out again Monday, may hit the Green Can and head North. If I get skunked again, I think I'll stick to my day job as a Realtor and make some money selling houses!

If all goes well with the test run I'll drop lines in the AM and be back by mid afternoon to handle my clients and listings. 21' CC "Change for a Hundred" monitoring 68 & 78. Good luck..............Ron

You are a Realtor as well?

Yes, I've been in the real estate business for quite awhile. We ended up not being able to go Monday (mechanic called out sick) and I hated to miss it. I got tired of waiting by Tuesday afternoon and decided to make a late run with Blackwater Billy and Steve, an out of town friend/client. Discovered that mechanic still has some work to do but she'd run so dropped lines off Cape Henry. Nothing happening until just before dark. Wind had seriously increased and the current was extra strong and seas were getting mean about the time we had a double hookup (chartreuse jointed stretch and red and white stretch) off the light in 40' of water. Trolling 2.5 mph against that current was almost like standing still but the added pullage was really lighting Steve up with his first striper. Fifteen minutes later it's dark and getting rougher and we didn't have one that made the minimum, so in we came. If the mechanic gets his tweaking done pretty quick, I'll take that crew back for some keepers so Steve can go back to Michigan with a better fish story. Probably will start near Ramada and keep heading North............................Ron
p.s. Just noticed my typo in earlier posts - the channels I monitor are 68 &
