I plan on going. it depends on how much work I get done today. I have been out of the area for a week. What colors and lueres have been working? I just plan on going from CH to the Ramada dont really have time to go any farther. Leaving Little Creek ~ 10 or so.

Therapy will be togging early,then might do a late afternoon troll Cape Henry way.Will be still on channel 72.
By the way, there has been a whole lot of big boats roaring close by me while fighting fish and stuff at slow speed. This is not gentlemanly, and while on the little boat "Therapy" down right dangerous. I make an unbelievable attempt not to do that to small boats while on the big "Therapy". Please consider others when running around out there.Not everybody has such a kind and gentle spirit and might be offended.Especially next time they run a big boat.I took a 48oz mojo on the chest and hook through my new coat while on the little boat Monday p.m. as the "********" passed by me at warp speed.

I'm going out of Sunset tomorrow morning. Let's all do the channel 72 thing. I'll have my cell as well 757-207-2248. Would appreciate it if someone finds the fish and will certainly reciprocate. Planning to fish CH and south until we find'em (or the gas runs low!!). Gonna be pullin' stretch 25, stretch 30, mojo with crip. alewive trailer and umbrella rig. Not sure of colors, may throw a tomic in the mix too. Looking for the HAWGS!!!!!!

I'm hoping to skip out of work tomorrow afternoon and fish CH from 2:00 or so to sunset. I was there for a great bite on Saturday and I heard Sunday and Monday were good also. On Saturday, color didn't matter, they hit everything. Chartreuse, blue, gray, etc. We got them on mojos, tomics, stretch 25s. My gray ghost Stretch 25 did well but it was hard to keep track with all the fish in the boat

Black Adder, I'm in the same boat so to speak. I run a 17' CC Whaler and lately it seems that everyone wants to run full throttle across my bow while I'm trolling. Show a little courtsey.

I saw some boats off of the oceanfront today, around 20th street. There were a few birds working the area. You guys catch 'em up and let us know how you do!! Tell us how the Ch 72 thing works out.

The report was the morning bite was 1 1/2 miles east of Cape Charles Lighthouse. They said the birds were working hard. Good luck to you guys and post some reports because I plan on heading out Friday.....

FYI, birds 150 yds off sandbridge bee hive from 7am till 10 this morning also saw a Right Whale feeding, good luck everybody.

I will be lurking out there somewhere under the bird cloud!Might take the Fly Rod since I am fishing solo.

It is looking more and more like I won't be able to make it To much work and I have taken to many "sick" days for fishing the past few weeks. Catch em up and lets us know how you do. If by some miracle I make it out of work early I'll give a call on the radio.

Hey Mega Bite,
I'm heading out of Lynnhaven @6:00 am armed with my flyrod, too. I caught 30-32" fish on topwater baits @CH, Sunday, but it was too windy to flyfish. Also got a report of nice fish rolling on the surface there on Monday, too. Should be ideal conditions Thursday. Can you imagine a 40" fish on fly? No guts, No glory! I'll radio you if I find fish on the surface.

Cant go till about 4 today but my buddy, who is not on this board, just called me. He left Rudee at 0630 and had his limit of 36-40 inchers by 0730 and of course called to rub it in.
He is just north of Rudee and a mile out 35 ft of H2O.
If anyone is still out around 430 Ill be on 72. This seems like what we have been waiting for. Good luck all, and catch em up.

Thanks for the info. I was planning on heading out this afternoon and the morning also. Get it while it's HOT! I think I may wait until my 6 year old gets home from school today and take him out... I'll be monitoring 72.
