Hi yall,

My mom and her husband are in town for the week and I am able to take them fishing tomorrow 3/28/06. I know the stipers have calmed down some and I can't say that trolling would exite my mom too much. How's the croaker and flounder? I see reports of them being caught at RI and LI and at the OV pier.... what I would like to know is what areas and what's being used to catch 'em? In other words I would like everyones hard R&L (research & luck) just so that i can show mom a good time while she is up from Fla. help.gif

Is there anything being caught bottom fishing at the CBBT?

Also planning on heading out with my son this Friday for whatever is biting. If any of the Ho's want to go, I have an open spot on da' boat... fishing2.gif

Bobby,

Try the offshore wrecks around the CLT for Togs. Find a good pile of rubble and drop the crab cluster to the rubber lippers!!

I would go to the cbbt around the pilings, I saw a 13.8 weighed in today at bubba's and he also had a 9+ and a 7+ and a 5+ all caught within a 30 min. action-smiley-033.gif

Try the James River @ the James River bridge in New Port News. The croakers are biting after 6 pm. We used shrimp and squid.
