Try the following website. Enter your zip code, then click on "Nautical Charts" at the top. Not the most detailed charts, but it is quick and easy (and free!).

They're not as good as the nautical charts, but for inland lakes, you can download USGS topographic maps and most all have the bathymetrics for lake bottoms.

Go to www.dgif.state.va.us.com .... Next go to "where to fish"... then punch "lakes". You will now see a listing of all the vdgif owned lakes in Va. Punch on the one you want and if they're's a map made of the lake you can click "maps and directions" and print them out. I just got back from Briery and Sandy River up in Farmville and the contour maps definatly were a major factor to our sucess.
