I am considering going out tomorrow afternoon and I would appreciate any reports along the CBBT or inside Lynnhaven. I was thinking of trying for flounder but may consider some togging but would even be happy with some dogfish as it has been over a month since I have been out.

I'M PLANNING ON GOING OUT TOMORROW ABOUT NOON. HAD SOME PRETTY GOOD LUCK WITH FLOUNDER LAST WEEKEND.

went out from 7 to noon today. Togged the 1st for 4 hours ,slow, but got 5, all 20 and 21 inches. Then did a few drifts off the west side of the island, had 4 flounder in an hour biggest 24".Good luck.. real nice out there today!

Cool. Thanks for the report. I lost my wreck anchor and don't have time to make another. I may check the local shops and see if they have any for sale. If not I will just stick to flounder fishing. Can't wait to get out there tomorrow.

We togged from 11 am til 230 pm the Bite was short but sweet we caught one after another for about an hour then it shut down like someone turned a switch. A tide line with a color change from the bay came across the area we were at it shut the bite down like that.We got about 20 Toggs Kept Two males released the others.The water temp was 52.1 in the Ocean.

I have heard alot of the same reports from different people. I kindof figured that the fishing would not be as good as the past days today because of the murk coming out of the rivers. Incoming tide will proberbly be the deal for the next few days. I will be launching around 7-7:30, regardless of the tide. Going to try to hit some pilings and set a few drifts for the flatties. I'll try to give a report tomorrow.
