Down in Naw'lins we could catch sheepshead pretty easily on the sea wall. In ?Carolina it was a lil harder but you could catch'em fishing under the pier.
When I hear you guys talk'in bout them it usually out in the bay over a wreck or structure. Can you catch them inshore or near shore around here?
Where?
Same question for tog.

THe state recoed was caught on the seagul pier on first island. THey catch plenty of sheepshead and tog there. Other times they catch pretty nice spadefish too. Another spot for them is under the greatneck birdge. THey use mostly fiddlers or stone crabs there. Just be sure whereever you are you take plenty of tackle.

Try Rudy Inlet under the bridge using sand fleas. I've also caught sheepheads at the end of the jetty day and night. It's cost about $100 in fines & court costs for being on the rocks but some people can't resist. There's always rip current right beside the jetty that the surfers use to get out past the breakers and with every rip current theres a sand bar. I wade out to the sand bar and work the jetty. But if you have a boat and can't afford the gas, put out at Owls Creek and fish the jettys at the mouth of Rudy. Last July the 2nd island had good numbers of sheepheads.
