I was wondering what kind of boat storage facilities are available in the Virginia Beach area. I would like to store my boat UNDER ROOF from May through December. I know there is a facility at Willoughby Spit, but I am looking for something close to Lynnhaven or Rudee Inlet.

Thanks!!

There are a few in the Little Creek area. Taylor's Landing and Little Creek Marina offer dry storage. I believe tha facility at Willoughby Spit has been torn down.

You also have the Boatel and Marina Shores in Virginia Beach which are both located in very close proximity to Long Bay Pointe Bait & Tackle. I've kept my boat @ the Boatel for 5 years now and haven't had any problems worth mentioning. However, the price may not be the cheapest in town.

I've been looking for a place to keep mine as well. The only place I have found willing to keep it is Norfolk Marine. It's across the street from Lynnhaven Marine. The places I've checked are Taylor's Landing, Lynnhaven Marine, and Norfolk Marine. Is the Boatel by chance associated with a Marina?

I keep my boat at Marina Shores during the winter. In the summer I take it to Wanchese. Marina Shores facilities and people are first rate. Wanchese is the best the outer banks has to offer, but its no Marina Shores. Talk to Dee over there.

The Lynnhaven Boatel is associated with Lynnhaven Marine. They are actually connected to one another.
