Hey guys, I'll be going out Friday and Saturday evening, weather providing. I'll be on a buddie's 24 foot Carolina skiff - 'Fetch em Up'. We hope to drag some Flounder baits during the day and soak some Drum baits afternoon and evening. It sounds like we'll be in the same area so give us a yell if you see us. We'll give you what ever info we might have. Everyone stay safe and good luck fishing.

I was out there last night, nothing but critters. One boat reported some action, I think it was a red CC boat.
We moved right before dark to the 13 bouy, just enough time to see a big drum get boated by the boat next to us. Still nothing but skates and sharkes for us.

im not sure where u were. i set up south of most of the people at around 6 and farther towards the ocean initially, but people started coming in as the night progressed. there were a few clusters farther south of me by nightfall when we left. i was probably in a little deeper water than most.

Fished alone in Mako Wednesday night and caught skates/sharks and returned to same area with "Therapy" Thursday for more of the same action. Came off the Green Isaacs shoals when wind got up to 25k SE, then flounder fishing around Small Boat Channel for rest of afternoon.(Caught one croaker).Talked to Brian on "First Chance" and they were trying to scratch up something around the Islands without much success for his A.M. trip.
Bait situation as follows: Weds night caught a limit of bluefish near Third Isl.which the skates and sharks voted as "Tasty". Thursday with Dr Wright had the Million Dollar Bait aboard with a ten-pound bag of freshly shucked sea clams, ten bags of fresh clam chum, and about fifty live peelers. Sharks and skates have voted Dr W a "Gentleman and a Scholar" for the fine cuisene. He is fishing same spot with son David aboard "Therapy" today, as it's back to the salt mines for me. I will be fishing SOMEPLACE ELSE Saturday! Will report.

Does anyone know how far of a run in miles it is from lynnhaven to the shoals? I'm sure I can make it there and back no problem but I'm having a little trouble with my fuel guage. I'm thinking about heading out there saturday night.

Thanx FIN FEVER! I thought it might be a little farther than that. I can make it there and back a few times on a full tank. My boat is a 17' Skiff style tri-hull so I might have to wait until the daylight hours to make the run.
