Left my house at 0400....arrived promptly at 0600 and underway by 0630. Headed Due south approximately 42NM to where the break was. Upon arriving we put lines in the water and BAM...Dolphin right away...The day went really kinda slow after that...we ended up picking up 7 dolphin...a few nice ones...no Tuna again or Wahoo.....Got out past the 1000 fathom line and the water was beautiful. Got some killer pictures of some porpoise....Oh yea..we did see a free jumping Blue Marlin...it was awesome...he was gone by the time we made it to his sighted location though....all in all a great day...seas were fantastic....flat calm again for the ride in....home by 7PM......Here's a couple of Pics

Well you did better than we did. We only got 2 dolphin and one got away. Atleast the water was great! We passed you guys out on the water....nice ride!

by the way maybe you guys know this...The charter boats were pulling in Kings pretty steady. Do you guys know how they are rigging up for those?

Actually my 1st one was one of the smaller ones but I did reel in 3 of them, one of them being the second largest. food-smiley-004.gif

One incredible day in the gulf stream, we couldn't believe how flat it was. Hopefully that weather was an indicator for the rest of the season!!

JDYVAMAN, what is the name of your boat, did you try us on the radio? We tried Radio Check a few times but got no answer back, i think our VHF is on the fritz

Don and Mike, those are some awesome looking mahi yourock.gif , we need to get some eye candy for our tournys, once we've got our show that shouldn't be a problem. haha......lol.

Oh yea forgot to mention....If anybody finds a Black and Gold TACO Outrigger about 20 miles south east of Oregon Inlet...IT:S MINE !!!!!!......Dam thing popped out on the run out and sank before we could retrieve it !...I wonder if they will sell just one and not a whole PAIR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......

We were on the Jobsite. On the taco outrigger- just send taco an email - they will more than likely send you a new one. I had some issues with the bases of mine - they sent me all new stuff (about $1,000 worth) no questions asked. They were awesome to deal with!

From what I've been told...they're pulling Planers/trolling weights with 5 - 6" clark spoons and just tearing them up down there......they were working the rock pile for them last weekend as the water was green and about 66 - 67 degrees....Bob

are the kings at the Hot Dog yet? I wonder if anyone went out of Rudee last week?
