I heard they caught the first yellowfins out of Wachapreague on Sunday. Can anyone confirm this or give any details?

Yeah, I watched that warm water come down the coast from New England for 3 or 4 weeks. I heard a good report from Tom's canyon about a week and a half ago. It looked like the Baltimore and Wilmington were good this weekend. The water was a little further off and less consistant off the Virginia Eastern shore. I ususally check the Rutgers site, but Offshore satellite services has been free this off season. Their site shows the same temp. breaks, but they are always a few degrees cooler than what rutgers shows.

Read that the Baltimore yielded some bluefin action this past weekend along with some Fat Alberts.

The charterboat Mojo (out of O.C.) got the season's first mako and a dolphin there.
