We found some warm water on rutgers site, so we ran out to the fingers and then all the way to the canyon on Saturday. Nothing was showing itself on top, but I did mark alot down deep which turned out to be large bluefish again. I caught nothing trolling spreader bars, skirted ballyhoo and daisy chains, but instead caught a mess of bluefish again on diamond jigs. The water reached 70 degrees at the canyon with 2-3 foot seas. I burned alot of gas trying to find the fish. They've got to make a showing soon. At least I had some action and alot of blood in the boat. Hopefully by memorial day we'll be seeing reports of successful trips in our waters from VB.

You the man, Budafish. Thanks for trying again. So you went to the Canyon? I wonder what's happening at the 000"s.WE came up from Hatteras this am so once we get reset I'm going to try south of the Cigar.

It looks like some warmer water is stacked up off Wachapreague I hear they have had some boats catching up there its a shorter run right now.Thanks for the recon.

How far a run is it from Rudees to the cigar and the hotdog?

Hotdog about 32 NM and the Cigar is about 65.
