Hey guys, I thought I would ping you all for some advice. Four of us are trying to find a place to rent in/near Hatteras in July. Everything we have looked at in the past sleeps 10+ people and is pretty $$$$. I was hoping someone would have some advice on where we could look for something smaller. It's for two couples.

Try the Hatteras Marlin Hotel. They have a duplex as part of their rentals that is pretty sweet. 2 rooms downstairs with a shared bathroom. Upstairs has a huge kitchen, half bath and open dinning room and livingroom , plus a front and a back balcony.

There are some on Ocracoke also.

We stayed in the Hatteras marlin Suite back in April...it was a really sweet set up...I highly recommend...prices weren't bad back then don't know what they will be in July...we stayed in the Blue Marlin Suite.....Bob

2 couples, I would suggest the apartments that are in the Buxton motels. They have 2 seperate bedrooms and are around 250 a night.

Hatteras motel, sea gull and the lighthouse motel. Check them out on the net.

My friends have a soundfront house with dock in Hatteras that they just finished fixing up. It has 2 bedrooms and a loft. Their weekly rental rate would probably be less than a motel. Call me at 252-216-6291 cell if interested. I also have a 27 offshore center console that I run occasional charters on, in addition to our 52 ft Ricky boat, if you're interested in catching some offshore fish while down here. I get $700/day for up to 4 people on the center console. Check out pics and info on our website.
