The only problem i have ever had at harborfest was the Marine patrol ( herein known as buttwipes) Had a river block at jordan bridge. The buttwipes were looking for BUI candidates.
They shut the river off at 7:00. Its a fun time out there. You can't beat the view for the fireworks.
Eric, D-buoy is right across from the edge of town point park. You can hear the music and everything. On the p-town side.
Kayaks are welcome

Is that in front of Psmouth Naval Hospital? In that area that everyone anchors across from waterside?

I got there a little late due to some late arriving landlubbers I picked up at W. Spit. By the time I arrived things looked pretty full around "D" so I ended up with front row anchorage just down river from "E" buoy. Hell of a fireworks show! BTW, why does the Suffolk Sherifs Dept. need such a nice offshore fishin' rig? It must get kinda choppy on those Lone Star lakes.
